NURIEYE-5800 has conducted clinical trials with 144 patients with dry eye syndrome. The result showed that dry eye syndrome was cured and intraocular pressure was reduced as well. Consequently, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety approved an official license for NURIEYE as a medical device for treating dry eye syndrome
